Sending limits

Every account an agent sends from has a daily limit. A new account starts low and sends more each week as it warms up. Anything that doesn't fit today waits in Up next in your Inbox and goes as soon as there's room. Nothing is dropped.

IconYour own domain 20 emails a day 100 a day, for each domain 20 a day on days 1 to 3, 50 on days 4 to 7, then 100. Each domain warms up on its own.
All your own domains together 100 emails a day 500 a day 250 from day 14 once 300 have gone out, 500 from day 28 once 1,000 have, while bounces stay under 2% and spam reports at 1 or fewer a month
IconYour Gmail or Outlook 10 emails a day 40 a day 10, 20, then 30 a day by week, then 40
IconInstantly or IconSmartlead campaign 30 emails a day for each mailbox in it Up to 500 new people a day, or the campaign's own lower limit there A mailbox other campaigns also use shares its 30 with them. Follow-ups go first, so a campaign that sends each person 3 emails starts a third as many new people a day.
IconGTM Work address 10 emails a day 10 a day Shared by every workspace, so it's for replies and light sending, not cold lists
LinkedIn 5 requests a day, 20 a week, 10 messages a day 20 requests a day, 80 a week, 30 messages a day Up one level after a week with 5 or more sent, down one after a restriction. Pauses requests when under 1 in 5 are accepted.
IconX 20 DMs, 10 follows and 5 post replies a day 50 DMs, 20 follows and 10 post replies a day The first week, then 35, 15 and 8 in the second, then the full limits

A domain starts warming up the day it's ready, and Gmail and X the day you connect them. More domains spread your sending so no single domain carries it all; they don't raise what your workspace sends each day. That grows with clean sending, as inboxes ask: start low and increase slowly. Settings → Email shows today's number and when it grows. To send more from people rather than domains, connect another account from an agent's Sends from page, or ask a teammate to share their LinkedIn.

What counts

  • Every person an agent emails counts, including Cc, follow-ups and the agent's replies. Replies you write yourself in the Inbox don't count.
  • First emails stop at 80% of a day's room. The rest is kept for replies, so someone who writes back hears back the same day.
  • Email limits reset at midnight UTC. LinkedIn limits reset at midnight your time, and requests go out 9 AM to 5 PM on weekdays.
  • X counts the last 24 hours, so room comes back as each send turns a day old. Every DM, follow and reply on X is one person's click; agents never send there on their own.
  • X allows far more (500 DMs and 400 follows a day), but it suspends accounts that message or follow people in bulk. These limits keep your account well clear of that.
  • New workspaces can email only their own members, up to 3 a day, until GTM approves the workspace.

When a domain pauses itself

If too many people mark a domain's emails as spam (3 or more, and at least 0.3%) or too many bounce (over 2% after 50), the domain pauses itself. Its agents still answer people who write to them, nothing else goes from it until it's resumed, and your other domains keep sending.

  • An admin opens it in Settings → Email, reads what happened, and selects Resume sending. It then sends at half its limit for 7 days to ease back in.
  • A domain can be resumed this way once every 30 days. Paused again within that time, GTM reviews it and replies within one business day. Every customer shares the same sending servers, so a second look protects everyone's delivery.
  • If two domains pause at once, or the whole workspace's record goes over the line, the workspace's domains wait until GTM reviews them, apart from answers to people who wrote. They resume after that review, each on its own.

When an account is full

  • A message you approve after the limit is reached says when it goes, and waits in Up next, where its card says when, like Goes tomorrow.
  • In a message's From menu, a full account says so. Pick another account to send it now.
  • A long list sends what fits each day. The rest waits in Up next, soonest first.
  • If LinkedIn restricts your account, requests wait until the restriction lifts, then go at a slower pace.

See today's numbers for each account in an agent's Settings → Sends from, or for every account in the workspace, with who can use each one, in Settings → Usage. Select an account there to manage it.
