Instantly

Connect Instantly so replies to your campaigns land in your GTM Inbox, and agents can work with your campaigns and leads.

Replies come to your Inbox

A reply becomes a conversation in your Inbox. Your agent drafts an answer, and you send it from the Inbox through Instantly.

What agents can do

• Read campaigns, leads and email results
• Set a lead's status, like interested, meeting booked or won
• Add leads to a campaign
• Pause or start a campaign
• Add an address to your blocklist

Agents only make changes when their permissions allow it. See Control what agents can do.

Start an agent when something happens

An agent can start on its own, usually within a minute, and within 2 minutes at most, when:

• Someone replies
• A lead is marked interested
• A meeting is booked
• An email bounces or someone unsubscribes

In New agent, pick an idea under From your apps, or change When it runs in Agent settings.

Connect

1 Create an API key in Instantly

Use a key with All access, so agents can read your campaigns and leads and send replies.

2 Open Integrations → Instantly

3 Paste the key and select Connect securely

Your key is encrypted and never shown in GTM chats.

4 Share it with your team

Optional, for admins. Select Share with organization so your teammates' agents can use it too.

If something goes wrong

Replies can't be sent yet

Your key can only read. In Instantly, make a key with All access, then select Paste new key and paste it.

Disconnect

In Integrations → Instantly, Disconnect removes your own connection. To remove the shared one for everyone, an admin selects Stop sharing with your team.
