Custom APIs

Connect any API that has an OpenAPI file, and agents can use its actions as tools.

What is OpenAPI?

OpenAPI is a standard file that lists what an API can do and what each action needs. GTM reads it to create tools your agent can use.

Connect

1 Open Integrations and select Connect an API

It's under Custom.

2 Paste the OpenAPI link

Then select Check API.

3 Choose API access

Pick No key needed, Bearer token or API key, and paste the key if there is one.

4 Choose credential access

If you added a key, choose Only me, or Organization if you're an admin. Then select Connect API.

Good to know

• Each API you connect shows under Custom, and agents can use its actions like any other app.
• Agents only make changes when their permissions allow it. See Control what agents can do.

Disconnect

In Integrations, open the API under Custom and select Disconnect.
